OKR INTERVIEW – JOEY TURBO – 3-3-25

We are so excited that we finally got a chance to sit down and chat with one of Milwaukee’s most eclectically talented artists, one of the biggest supporters of the local and independent music bands that come to this fine city, and one of our best friends, Joey Turbo!

You may know Joey Turbo from his many bands: Platinum Boys, Rio Turbo, Messy, Catacombz, Peroxide, No Motel, etc…. and now… his solo work as Joey Turbo!!

On this interview we talk with Joey Turbo about his latest release ‘Up Against the Wall Motherfucker’, and some fun stories from throughout the years, Pete at Quarters Rock N’ Roll Palace, opening for Corey Feldman, a bizarre Buckcherry story, and much much more!!

Joey is just about ready to hit the road to Austin, TX at the Wisconsin House showcase at SXSW presented by Jason Burczyk and the Cooperage on WEDNESDAY MARCH 12th at MARLOW!!
There is also a sendoff party going at Cooperage here in Milwaukee on Thursday, March 6th from 7:00 pm – 11pm that you all can come out to and see Joey Turbo with other artists like Scam Likely, NilexNile, Social Cig, Wave Chapelle, and The Keystones!!
