June is here… and the first day of summer, or whatever, is on Sunday, 6/21/26, but the damn heat is already cooking things up this week…. can I get a hell yeah!! After speaking with some of you OKR fans at shows and at bars over the past month, it’s looking like it’s now common consensus that everyone is struggling a little bit this summer already with bills, gas, and other shit because the economy is going down the tubes…. yadda yadda yada… so I am putting up a separate post here at OKR of a little over 10 things you can do this summer if you’re on a budget and most of there things are free!! That way you can still get out to see all your buddies play some shows this summer without breaking the bank too much. Tabman and I are back in the saddle again as we put together another great podcast for you for my birthday month!! It’s jam-packed with great music, telling y’all about a bunch of great shows going on around Milwaukee you need to check out, and hopefully giving ya a little laugh along the way. It appears that most of you forgot to call in to request a new karaoke song for either me, Tabman, or even your requests for us to duet a song in ‘KARAOKE’ style!! We were able to go with previous messages that were called over the past few months, but please do call in with your request for the next show. Just call our OKR hotline at (414) 909-2272 and leave us a message with what song you want sung, and we will pick one random request for the next show.
