One Kind Radio Podcast – 02-28-26
It’s almost March, and we are on our way to the first day of Spring! On this show, we had so much to cover since the last show. The Super Bowl halftime show, Summer Fest, Tabman playing a show with his band and a couple of other bands at Classic Slice in Bay View, and of course some of the best music from bands from right here in Milwaukee and throughout the world and also letting you know about all those shows coming to town over the next month you need to get out to. We also had quite a few shots, so be sure to have a few with us if you wish. After receiving all your emails and of course with us talking with you all in person over the years… we finally have some new high quality and very soft/cozy silk-screened One Kind Radio T-shirts in our hands… be sure to check back with us as we will be adding the order form to the site, and we are also working on a Patreon page where you can support us by buying us a drink for each show and in turn get some exclusive content that you are gonna love. I know you all must have either loved or thought DJ John B’s karaoke song was complete garbage as he attempted to do a “William Shatner” version of the song by the band ‘Live’ called “Lightning Crashes” on the last show…. but on this show… it’s Tabman’s turn to do a ‘KARAOKE’ version of a song that you called in and left us a message on the OKR hotline for us to do. Thank you all for calling in. Remember…. each request that is not picked out of our trusty hat will roll over to the next show, so you still have a chance at one of us singing the song you requested for either Tabman, DJ John B., or a duet for both of us to sing on future shows. Just call our OKR hotline at (414) 909-2272 and leave us a message with what song you want sung, and we will pick one random request for the next show.
Also, be sure to check out karaoke with Joey Turbo every Wednesday at 9pm at The Mothership! I’m sure you can sing better than both me and Tabman and it’s so much fun after a couple of those amazing cocktails they have over there.
