It’s October!!! Leaves are falling, Beet Street was kick ass as always this year, and we are finally back for another podcast. So, here we are…. on this show we are playing a bunch of Hard Rock/Glam Rock/Metal from the 70’s-90’s for ya in celebration of the life of Rick, who used to come into Cactus Club all the time to DJ John B about all these bands from that era and was such a great guy, handing out and slapping our OKR stickers everywhere. Rick asked us to do a show where we played these kinda bands a while ago, and now since he has passed, we are finally getting around to doing it. RIP Rick. Huge THANK YOU to all of you who called in with your requests and have been tuning in each show… also to all of you who have purchased our OKR t-shirts…. we only have Large and XL left… keep those orders coming in so we can continue to bring you this amazing podcast and continue coverage of all your favorite bands with our reviews, and interviews to come for next year as well.
Tabman is also having a big celebration for the project he is working on called Rock N Roller Remote Controller over the years and you can come check it out at Style Machine Art at 514 E Center St, Milwaukee, WI 53212 on October 23, 2026, 8:00 – 10:30 PM – Very few seats for the event so get your tickets early!! – Click here to get your tickets.
Also, be sure to check out karaoke with Joey Turbo every Wednesday at 9pm at The Mothership! I’m sure you can sing better than both Tabman and me, and it’s so much fun after a couple of those amazing cocktails they have over there.
Lastly, if your band has some new music that you want all of us here in Milwaukee to take a listen to, get in contact with us on Instagram or at OKRCHICAGO@GMAIL.COM if you want to get your music on the show!
Also, if you have a request that you think we should play on the show, or just want to leave us a message saying hello, give us a call at our OKR Hotline at: (414) 909-2272 and leave us a message!!
Now….. on with the show!!
