It’s August, and our good buddy Jeremy stopped by to join in on the musical mayhem we like to call this podcast. I think we covered just about everything we didn’t plan on covering on this one so be ready to hear some pretty weird shit. DJ John B has just returned from getting his tooth pulled about 10 days ago, and Tabman just played a show at Classic Slice (which really does have some kick-ass pizza here in Milwaukee), and Jeremy just released his demo on Bandcamp for The Komsomol. So, here we are…. ready to chat your ears off as usual, but this time somehow our conversations brought us to talking about Juggalo Island and Tabman’s feet, I guess. I am blaming all the Malort and Candian Club for allowing us to bring you such groundbreaking entertainment that some of us don’t remember making.
On this show, we are not only playing a ton of great music as always, but we are trying to bring ya a pretty good party since summer is almost done with only a little more than a month to go until Fall creeps in. A little fun in the sun with the OKR crew. Thanks again for tuning in and for keeping in touch. Hope to see you all at shows very soon!
So, it appears that most of you forgot to call in to request a new karaoke song for either me, Tabman, or even your requests for us to duet a song in ‘KARAOKE’ style!! So, to sweeten the deal we are gonna send one of you a FREE OKR T-shirt if we choose your request on our show.
So, just call our OKR hotline at (414) 909-2272 and leave us a message with what song you want us to sing, and then after that say what size shirt you want, and we will pick one random request for the next show. If we pick your song or the show… we will send you a shirt. Pretty easy. Just keep in mind that we dont carry the sizes Small or anything above a 3x but we do have Medium through 3X available while supplies last.
Also, be sure to check out karaoke with Joey Turbo every Wednesday at 9pm at The Mothership! I’m sure you can sing better than both Tabman and me, and it’s so much fun after a couple of those amazing cocktails they have over there.
Lastly, if your band has some new music that you want all of us here in Milwaukee to take a listen to, get in contact with us on Instagram or at OKRCHICAGO@GMAIL.COM if you want to get your music on the show!
Also, if you have a request that you think we should play on the show, or just want to leave us a message saying hello, give us a call at our OKR Hotline at: (414) 909-2272 and leave us a message!!
Now….. on with the show!!
